Newport to Ensenada Race

The Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race is the world's largest international ocean yacht race, with a history stretching back to 1948. Each April, hundreds of sailboats ranging from 27-foot production boats to 80-foot racing machines gather in Newport Harbor before the starting gun sends them south toward Ensenada, Mexico — a 125-nautical-mile course that tests seamanship, strategy, and endurance.
